This policy explains what Saither Labs collects when you use the website, buy a macOS utility, activate a license, or contact support.

Saither apps are designed as local-first macOS utilities. App work such as OCR, transcription, clipboard history, system monitoring, and media processing runs on your Mac unless a specific feature says otherwise.

Information we collect

We do not collect browsing or request logs (such as IP address or browser type) when you visit pages on saither.com.

  • Purchase and license data when you buy on saither.com or activate a license in an app, such as email address, purchased product, transaction identifiers, license status, activation count, and timestamps.
  • Support data when you contact us, such as your email address, app name, message content, and anything you choose to include (screenshots, logs, device details).

Payments

Payments are handled by our merchant of record and payment providers. We do not store full card numbers or payment credentials. We receive the purchase and license information needed to deliver the app, issue licenses, and provide customer support.

How we use information

  • Process purchases, issue licenses, and verify license activation.
  • Send purchase receipts, license emails, support replies, and important service notices.
  • Protect checkout, licensing, and feedback from abuse and automated attacks.
  • Improve product reliability and diagnose issues reported through support.

App data

The macOS apps are built to keep user content local by default. For example, OCR, transcription, clipboard entries, system readings, media files, and app settings are handled on the device unless the app screen or documentation explicitly states that a network feature is being used.

Retention

We keep purchase, license, and tax records for as long as needed to operate the product, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. Support messages are kept only as long as useful for support history and product reliability.

Your choices

You can request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by contacting [email protected]. Some records may need to be retained for legal, accounting, security, or dispute-resolution reasons.

Children

Saither products are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
