Install and activate
Download a Saither app, open the notarized DMG, start the trial, and activate your one-time license when you are ready.
Before you install
- Apple Silicon Mac (M1 or later). Intel Macs are not supported.
- macOS 13 or later for most apps. PixelScan requires macOS 14 or later.
- A network connection for checkout, license activation, and trial sync only. App features themselves are local-first unless a product page says otherwise.
Install from the DMG
- Download the DMG from the product page on saither.com or from the link in your purchase email.
- Open the DMG and drag the app into Applications.
- Launch the app from Applications. If macOS shows a security prompt, confirm you want to open a notarized app from Saither Labs.
- Grant any permission the app requests when you first use a feature that needs it. See the permissions guide for details.
Trial and purchase
Direct downloads from saither.com include a 3-day trial. During the trial the app is fully usable. When the trial ends, purchase a license on saither.com to continue.
Mac App Store builds, such as Waiting For AI Game, are sold by Apple and do not use Saither license keys or the saither.com trial flow.
Activate your license
- Complete checkout on saither.com. Polar sends a receipt and license key to your email.
- Open the app Settings and go to the License section.
- Paste the license key and activate. The app contacts api.saither.com to verify the key.
- After activation, the app works offline except for occasional license reconciliation.
Reinstall or move to a new Mac
Download the current DMG again from your product page. Install the app and activate with the same license key. If activation fails because the device limit was reached, email [email protected] with your purchase email.
Troubleshooting
- App cannot be opened: Make sure you copied the app from the mounted DMG into Applications, then try again. Do not run the app directly from inside the DMG.
- License will not activate: Check the key for typos, confirm you are online, and verify the purchase email matches the license issued for that product.
